L.A. FireAid Concert: over 25 artists performed at Los Angeles benefit

Since mid-January, the Los Angeles area has been devastated by wildfires, resulting in more than 57,000 acres burnt, entire neighbourhoods wiped out, and at least 29 lives lost.

To help with wildfire relief, FireAid was born—a five-and-a-half benefit concert on January 30, split between two epic venues: the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum, both in Los Angeles. The event was streamed live for free across more than 25 platforms, including Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Hulu, and Paramount+. FireAid not only brought together some of the biggest names in the music industry but also provided a platform for those affected by the wildfires to share their experiences with the world. Now, let's highlight some of the best moments of the night!

Green Day was joined on stage by Billie Eilish for a performance of Last Night on Earth at the Kia Forum.

One of the best moments was the epic Nirvana reunion! Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic shared the stage with special guests like Joan Jett and St. Vincent, to perform some classic Nirvana songs.

There was also a No Doubt reunion, with the band performing their fan favorites Just a Girl and Don’t Speak.

Lady Gaga performed her hit Shallow from the soundtrack of A Star Is Born at the Intuit Dome, but the real highlight of her set was when she debuted an original song written with her fiancé specifically for the benefit called Time.

Actress Quinta Brunson from the show Abbott Elementary introduced Aurora Barboza Flores, a math teacher from Glendale High School, who shares a heartbreaking testimony on how she lost her own Altadena home yet she is still grateful for being there, seeing everyone united for one big cause: the people.
