Tinashe’s a Nasty Girl

Tinashe at Élysée Montmartre, Paris lensed by Isa Viriato.

Tinashe absolutely set the stage on fire at Élysée Montmartre on Friday, February 21st, delivering a show that was just breathtaking. From the moment she stepped into the stage, she had the entire crowd dancing. She danced with a very sharp choreography, powerful vocals, and an undeniable confident aura. Her dancers matched her energy perfectly, making every move with precision, turning the performance into a full spectacle.

And let’s talk about that bejewelled mic, which caught the light every time she moved, creating these star-like flares that made her look even more ethereal. The way it shimmered with every movement felt almost cinematic, like she was glowing. It was one of those little details that made the whole experience feel extra special, elevating the performance into something almost magical.

Her outfit? Absolutely iconic. Tinashe wore a yellow mini skirt with a top, pairing it with a Von Dutch hat and super high animal-print boots. It was giving early 2000s in the best way possible—bold, edgy, and definitely cool. She owned every inch of that stage, and her look only added to her presence.

The energy hit an all-time high from the very first song. As soon as the opening beats of “Nasty” dropped, the crowd exploded. The flashing lights, the visuals, the choreography: it all came together in this perfect storm that set the vibe for the rest of the night. You could feel the excitement in the air, with everyone dancing, singing, and vibing together.

One of the most unforgettable moments was “2 On.” The second she started it, the entire venue transformed into a sea of hands making the “2” gesture. It was pure euphoria, everyone was stuck in that moment, dancing like they were in the best party of their lives (and it just might have been).

When she performed “Nasty” again later in the set it was absolute chaos (in the best way). The crowd went wild, screaming every word, hyping her up like she was the baddest in the game (because, let’s be real, she is). Her performance was flawless, the choreography was insane, and for a moment, it felt like we were all part of something bigger: one big, electric wave of pure energy.

Tinashe didn’t just put on a show, she gave us a whole experience. The vocals, the moves, the vibes, it was everything. If you ever get the chance to see her live, DO IT. You won’t regret it.
