All the things we love about Huddy
Back when TikTok houses were a thing we met Chase Hudson, the founder of the iconic Hype House. He stood out with his grunge-edgy style, always wearing band T-shirts and black-painted nails. Now he is all grown up and embraced his true passion, music, and became Huddy, a pop-punk singer you should definitely keep an eye on.
Switching careers is never easy, specially in this scenario, but by touring Europe with Palaye Royale, Huddy has managed to get his music in front of their fans and it’s safe to say he’s definitely won them over.
On opening night in Milan, Huddy took the stage at the Alcatraz venue, kicking off his set with his latest single, Addicted to You. The song, which marks his deeper dive into punk rock, immediately grabbed the crowd’s attention and set the mood for the night.
He followed it up with fan-favorites like Partycrasher and The Eulogy of You and Me from his 2021 album Teenage Heartbreak. The highlight of the set came with All the Things I Hate About You, Huddy’s most-streamed song on Spotify at the time. The crowd was fully engaged, nodding along to the rhythm and even those who did not know the lyrics couldn’t resist the song’s catchy hooks and nostalgic 2000s punk rock vibes.
Throughout his performance, Huddy delivered impressive screams and worked the stage like he owned it, going from one side to the other to make sure everyone in the audience felt included and his presence and energy on stage were just contagious.
Although his set was short—he was the first opener, followed by I See Stars and Hot Milk—Huddy made every moment worth it. He ended his performance with a special treat for the Italian crowd: the live debut of Cyanide, his new song with Palaye Royale’s frontman, Remington Leith.
Despite being released just a day before the concert, the audience knew every word and screamed the lyrics, making it an unforgettable moment (captured in Cyanide’s music video available on YouTube).
A big shoutout to Huddy’s band members, Miko on drums and Amin on guitar, who brought an incredible energy to the stage, complementing Huddy’s performance. Their chemistry was undeniable, which added an extra layer of excitement to the show.
Huddy’s performance in Milan was more than just an opening act, it was the beginning of a whole new era, showing that he’s not just a TikTok playing musician but a rising star in the pop-punk scene.
