Deeply still in love with Role Model in Paris
Back in November 2024, when Paris and the No Place Like Tour collided, Tucker—or should I say Role Model—did what he does best: driving fans wild.
The audience was already buzzing with excitement even before Role Model stepped onto the stage: Annika Bennett opened the night with a performance that immediately connected with the crowd, singing a mix of her original songs and a standout cover of I Kissed a Girl by Katy Perry, she set the perfect tone for what was to come.
It didn’t take long for the “nominated sexiest man alive” to shake things up at Élysée Montmartre. The venue had never felt such an electrifying energy. Kicking off with Writing on the Wall from his latest album, Kansas Anymore, the energy immediately began to soar. The vibrant atmosphere of that Sunday night was amplified by an incredible light show, creating a perfect synergy between sound and visuals.
Although the setup and backdrop were minimalist, Role Model’s commanding presence was more than enough to fill the stage and make it unforgettable. The crowd was vibrant, holding up creative and humorous signs with phrases like: “Oh my God! Jacob Elordi at a Sabrina Carpenter concert,” “Thank you for hosting my birthday party,” and “Welcome back, Matty Healy.” The atmosphere was not only electric but also filled with laughter and a playful energy. Between almost every song, Tucker kept the mood light with witty comments, like saying, “Thank you, guys! We are Maroon 5, and we’re very happy to be here.” Unsurprisingly, the fans went wild, their laughter and cheers filling the entire venue in a wave of pure joy.
Look at That Woman was undoubtedly one of the fangirls' favorite moments of the night. The atmosphere, already incredible and unique, shifted into something even more special, making the concert feel like a true safe haven. The crowd shared a deep sense of unity, savouring every second of the melody. They sang in perfect harmony, with strangers interacting through smiles, friendship, and pure joy.
Beyond the creative signs, the fangirls’ outfits added even more flair to the night. Personalized shirts, cowboy hats, friendship bracelets, and original t-shirt phrases like “Nominated Sexiest Fangirl Alive” filled the venue with personality and charm.
The vibe was pure, and the crowd was effortlessly cool, creating an unforgettable ambiance.
Role Model continued captivating the audience and delivered the unmistakable "Expresso by Sabrina Carpenter" moment. It was hilariously memorable as he said:
"This is a song my mother used to sing to me. She would sing it to me at bedtime, and I’m sure your French mother did the same for you. I’d like to sing it for you tonight, acapella. Sometimes it chokes me up—I get emotional, it makes me start to cry. So, if that happens, maybe you can just take over and help me sing it, okay? It goes like this..."
He took a deep breath, and began dramatically: “Now he’s, thinkin’ ‘bout me every night, oh…” Pretending to be overcome with emotion, Tucker’s performance became even funnier, leaving the crowd in stitches. He followed it up with a cheeky: “We are Charlie Puth, motherf**er!”
The combination of humor and charm in moments like this made the night unforgettable for everyone present.
Ending with Deeply Still in Love, the most anticipated song of the night, the venue transformed into a sea of movement and emotion with the crowd dancing beautifully in the moment.
Even before the show ended, fans were already longing for Role Model and the distinctive atmosphere of his live performances. It was an authentic and fun concert, where the "safe place" energy lingered until the very last note.
